The Minor Thirds

Thursday, May 24, 2007

We were on the radio last night on KPSU's show "signal-to-noise radio", and you can (at least for right now) download it here (or more specifically, here). The first 5 minutes or so are a song that has nothing to do with us, but after that you'll hear "Houston" playing, and there you go.

We played a short, fast, and chaotic set. Casey had hurt herself, and whatever Steve is calling himself these days stepped in her shoes. He brought his entire kit, and although his big drum sound is mixed low in the mix, it loomed massively in the room, and everything went harum-scarum, and it was a good and strange time.

There was also an interview with us in which we said many silly things. And a few tracks off the new album were played. Thanks to Ranger Mike and Andy Z for having us on their show, it was a fun and strange time!

Here's what you'll hear:

Houston

live:
1. (Let's Not) Get It On
2. Omaha
3. In Medias Res
4. The Homonculus Stomp

(Turn Up The) RADIO!! THE RADIO!!
