We gathered in the park in the middle of Ladds Addition and sang a few songs. First Celesteville bounced around strumming vigorously or flailing his battery-powered Language Master around. Then Natural Bridges crooned in his sweet and wavering voice. There there were Two Oboes modally twirling around the small crowd, intertwining and buzzing. Then I alternated between new songs with curious religious undertones and songs that Joanie wanted to hear. Finally, Low Fire brought on the Danish pop songs about everyday tragedies.

It was lovely! If you weren't there, it is your loss.

January 31: PDXPOSE: an art and music show. We open for Minmae and Southerly, and it's at Kelly's Olympian at rock time.

February 1: Tried Tried Again: A bunch of Portland songwriters do the first song they ever wrote. Miss this if you hate life. At the Red Room, over on 82nd somewhere, at 8pm.
