The Minor Thirds

This weekend we played two very sweaty shows as part of the Cabaret Boris And Natasha at Performance Works NW.

We played our new album, Dishwasher Thief, over the two nights, skipping only one song. We tried to make the pulp crime story aspects clear by explaining the narrative as it rolls along. You who have the album at home will just have to have fun figuring it out yourself.

Chris Calvert joined us on the drums (well, on the snare and cymbal) and that was a lot of fun, so hopefully he'll be joining us for future shows.

And, of course, the other performers were great as well -- a fun sports/dance piece by Emily Stone and James Moore, Linda Austin with Eric Shaw doing her object-oriented work, the terrific Boris & Natasha dancers (including Eric Matchett, formerly of the Taken Girls, who plays trumpet on "Moose Jaw"), inventive entr'acts -- we can't recommend the cabaret enough! Try and catch it the next time it happens.
