The Minor Thirds

Tuesday, March 16, 2004

Ahhhh! After several months of dormancy, we finally played a show again.

It was part of a poetry and performance series that's started up in town. We played after the release party of FO A RM, a spiffy literary magazine that just released its second issue. Pick it up if you see a copy. They had several contributors reading and/or dancing, and it was sweet.

We played a fairly stripped-down set—Jake wasn't able to play along with us that night, and so it was old-school style Chris & Charlotte action. We took the opportunity to try out a few new songs, but we also brought back a few old standards. We also played the longest version of "Wyoming" yet.

The room was dark (as well as oddly shaped) so there aren't any pictures but the setlist is down below.

In other news: There may be other news soon.

1. Reno
2. Seattle
3. Houston
4. Artichoke
5. (Please Won't You Be My) Pitstop
6. Chickens
7. Mail Fraud
8. Welcome To The Occultation
9. Tattoo
10. The Revolutionary's Love Song
11. Wyoming
12. Yawning (in stereo)
