The Minor Thirds

Yet more musical comedic variety show action! When the basketball game finally ended, our latest regular venue, Dale Ann's Ladds Inn, was ready for us to put on our show. Attendance was light but devout. The usual comedic suspects did their schticks. Sauvie Island Moon Rocket Factory and Ross Beach did their schticks as well, and it all sounded rather well mixed because of Ross's sweet touch with the soundboard. They both did terrific sets.

And what else. Oh, yes. We did our schtick. Jake had his upright bass for the first time, and it sounded wonderful. We performed a short set. Someone requested we do "The Revolutionary's Love Song" and even though they left before we performed, we fulfilled the request anyways, because we love requests. Jake hadn't practiced it with us before, but he knew the song well, and helped spice it up.

And the venue turned out to be really nice and not too smoky. Come on June 10th and see us play there again for more than 20 minutes.

Setlist:

1. (Let's Not) Get It On
2. Salt Lake City
3. Mail Fraud
4. The Revolutionary's Love Song
5. Portland
6. The Thousand Nights And One Night
